The Diversity, Equality, Inclusion and Multiculturalism Unit aims to increase the visibility and reduce the barriers to the integration of groups that are underrepresented or at risk of discrimination. It provides a welcoming environment for everyone and it raises awareness and educates on these topics.

Our Charter
The UNIgreen Diversity, Inclusion and Multiculturalism Charter sets out the shared values, principles and commitments that guide the Alliance in fostering an inclusive, respectful and equitable academic environment. Rooted in the UNIgreen vision of becoming The Green European University, the Charter reaffirms the Alliance’s dedication to equality, non-discrimination and mutual respect across all its activities in education, research, innovation and governance.
The Charter defines a common framework of conduct applicable to all members of the UNIgreen academic community (students, academic and non-academic staff, and researchers) regardless of gender, age, nationality, disability, socio-economic background, religion, sexual orientation or any other personal characteristic. In alignment with the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and national legislations, it promotes equal opportunities and fair treatment, with particular attention to individuals and groups at risk of discrimination or exclusion.
