UNIgreen will participate in the third transversal workshop of the FOREU4ALL Community of Practice, taking place on 2 and 3 June 2026 at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France.
Hosted by the EPICUR Alliance, the event will bring together representatives from European Universities alliances to explore how higher education institutions can strengthen community engagement and foster a stronger sense of belonging among students, academics, and staff across Europe.
Under the theme “From Campuses to Communities: Enhancing Engagement and Sense of Belonging in European Universities,” the workshop will provide a platform for sharing good practices, aligning communication strategies, and discussing innovative approaches to building inclusive and connected academic communities.
The programme will feature plenary discussions, collaborative workshops, a student-led roundtable, and networking opportunities involving professionals from more than 60 European University alliances. Participants will address key topics such as local visibility, mobility, diversity and inclusion, multilingualism, student participation, and the strategic value of European University alliances.
UNIgreen is proud to contribute to these discussions. On the first day of the event, Cindy Vallée, Coordinator of the UNIgreen Diversity & Inclusion Unit at University-College of the Province of Liège (Belgium), will co-facilitate a workshop entitled:
“How do we improve awareness? Strengthening local visibility and understanding the strategic value of European University Alliances.”
Through its participation, UNIgreen reaffirms its commitment to fostering inclusive, sustainable, and engaged European academic communities while strengthening collaboration across the European Universities Initiative.
Additionally, we are also proud to highlight that, for the first time, our Communication Unit Coordinator, Grace Poley, together with Letizia Musto, from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia will present a poster showcasing the UNIgreen Festival, held this past April.
