Meet the Panel Speakers!
Christian Schultze:
Director of International Relations and Research, Agricultural University of Iceland
Christian Schultze has a background in Landscape Planning from TU Berlin and has worked in various positions within public administration and project management in Germany and Iceland. Today, he serves as Head of International Relations and Research at the Agricultural University of Iceland and is a member of the Board of Directors of the UNIgreen Alliance.


Ivelin Markov:
Assistant Professor at the Agricultural University – Plovdiv, Faculty of Crop Science, Department of Plant Physiology, Biochemistry and Genetics.
My work combines plant physiology, sustainable turfgrass and crop management, remote sensing, data analysis and AI-based decision-support systems. I completed my PhD on sustainable turfgrass management, focusing on irrigation, nitrogen optimization, soil carbon dynamics and probabilistic decision support. I have international academic and professional experience, including research cooperation with Tianjin Agricultural University, China.
Enkelejda Halilaj:
Project Manager at the Startup Unit of ART-ER
Enkelejda Halilaj, with over 20 years of experience in innovation and EU programs, coordinates the Infodesk of EmiliaRomagnaStartUp and the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program in ART-ER.
