1. Understanding “Digital Natives”

• Generation Landscape – An overview of the generations from Baby Boomers, to Generation Alpha.
• Gen Z in the learning process: Motivation, fear of failure, need for “here and now” feedback.
• Alpha Generation – the coming revolution: How will the children of technology change the face of universities in a few years?
• Workshop: Student Empathy Map: Creating student personas from different European countries (international context).

2. Tools, Relationships and Good Practice

• Digital communication: From email to instant messaging. How to write to be read?
• Mentoring instead of Directivity: Changing the role of the lecturer from “source of knowledge” to “facilitator”.
• Difficult situations and conflict resolution: How to respond to a student’s claim versus withdrawal? (Behavioural training).
• Design panel: “UNIgreen Universities Future-Ready”: Developing a catalogue of good practices for the university (recruitment, didactics, administration).

Target

Staff employed by one of the UNIgreen Alliance Universities with at least CEFR B2 English language proficiency.
