UNIMORE together with the other Universities of the Emilia-Romagna Region, Italy, in a partnership led by the University of Bologna, launched the MSCA COFUND – Futuredata4EU Call for Application.
This call is for 53 doctoral positions in seven thematic areas related to big data: Health; Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society; Civil Security for Society; Digital, Industry and Space; Climate, Energy and Mobility; Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment; Enabling Technologies.
The fully funded FutureData4EU programme is aimed at ambitious graduates and researchers eager to acquire advanced skills in the field of data science and big data application. Motivated candidates from diverse disciplines are invited to participate to receive multidisciplinary, international, and cross-sectoral training.
The 53 selected candidates will be enrolled in one university doctoral programme and will be contracted with a 36-month research fellowship (“assegno di ricerca”).
Please note that applicants must respect the mobility rule: candidates may not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Italy for more than 1 year in the 3 years immediately before the programme’s call closure.
FutureData4EU offers the opportunity to be involved in advanced research projects in the field of big data analysis, modelling, and engineering, supercomputing, and big data. Candidates will have access to an innovative combination of subject specialisation and multidisciplinary approach, including a broad understanding of societal and industrial challenges.
