Both courses at SupBiotech and at HEPL are organized into theoretical lessons, laboratory practical experiments and projects. A mobility period at the partner University is mandatory for students applying for the double master’s degrees.
Engineering School of Biotechnology (France)
Biotechnology Engineering is a master’s degree course provided by the SupBiotech Engineering School of Biotechnology (France). SupBiotech’s Biotechnology engineering program is accredited by Medicen Paris Région and Industries and Agro-Resources (I.A.R.). Students will start their educational programme attaining specific skills in fundamental biological sciences, economics and engineering science, as well as technological and general skills. Furthermore, student have the possibility to personalize their curriculum and to specialize in one of the 5 sectors of activities in biotechnology: health, cosmetics, environment, agribusiness or bioinformatics.
University-College Province of Liège (Belgium)
Ingénieur industriel (orientation in Biochimie-Bioproduction) is a master’s degree course provided by the University-College Province of Liège (Belgium).
The numerous skills that students will acquire during the training will allow them to master, invent and create industrial processes allowing the transformation or creation of new materials and molecules in an environmentally friendly world. They thus use living organisms and molecules (enzymes, bacteria, fungi, yeast, etc.) to produce or treat molecules of interest.
The emphasis of the training is placed on versatility as well as solid practical training allowing them to apply their knowledge. The course includes numerous projects (from the first year), laboratories, but also visits and internships in companies.
