Warsaw University of Life Sciences
On 28 September 2024, the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) will host its very first Science Day at the SGGW Water Centre. The event is part of the 28th edition of the Warsaw Science Festival and is also featured in the UNIgreen Science Week programme. Its aim is to promote science and inspire curiosity in children, teenagers, and adults alike.
The programme will include lectures, demonstrations, tours, and workshops led by SGGW scientists. Participants will have the chance to explore the relationship between trees and humanity, discover the vital role of enzymes in living organisms, visit the osteological museum, and observe bone tissue under a microscope.
Agricultural University of Iceland
On 28 September 2024, the Agricultural University of Iceland (AUI) will parttake in Iceland‘s Vísindavaka or Researchers‘ Night where institutions and companies in Iceland bring together scientists and the public, show scientists and science in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and to raise awareness of the work of researchers and their contribution to society.
Join us on Saturday, 28 September 2024, from 13:00-18:00 in Laugardalshöll sports centre in Reykjavík Iceland and meet Icelands‘ divers scientist and researchers in a fun event for the whole family.
