BIP – Think green, think forward

Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Poland) offers a course aimed at providing students with an interdisciplinary understanding of how green infrastructure and circular economies can create sustainable, resilient cities. Students will explore the links between ecological systems, urban planning, bioeconomy, and regional development, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

Warsaw, a leader in integrating nature-based solutions and circular economy principles, serves as an ideal model. The city focuses on biodiversity, flood protection, ecosystem services, and sustainable economic development. Through online modules and a five-day on-site visit, students will gain insights into Warsaw’s pioneering urban projects and collaborate on developing proposals for sustainable urban development in response to local environmental challenges.
