Job Description: SupBiotech is looking for a part-time temporary (CDD) instructor to conduct practical work in process engineering starting in the 2024 academic year. The teaching will mainly be for the integrated preparatory cycle and partly for the Bachelor programme.

Desired Start Date: 02 September 2024. Contract: CDD – 1 year (12 months).

Missions:

The selected candidate will supervise SupBiotech students during practical work carried out at the IUT of Orsay as part of SupBiotech’s engineering and Bachelor programmes.

The main missions entrusted will include assisting students during practical sessions in tandem with other SupBiotech instructors and correcting students’ reports.

The proposed experiments include:

  • Flow measurement and pressure loss
  • Characterisation of a centrifugal pump
  • Heat exchangers
  • Filtration on a filter press

Teaching will be conducted in French, but a good command of English would be an asset.

Desired Profile: This position is aimed at a candidate with a Bac+5 degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, energy, physics, mechanics, physical chemistry, or a related field. The candidate should have a passion for teaching and the ability to work in a team.
