UNIgreen International Doctoral School
The UNIgreen International Doctoral School is responsible for promoting, organising, delivering, and managing the UNIgreen Joint PhD programme, while overseeing the daily operations and coordination of PhD educational and research activities. Essentially, the UNIgreen International Doctoral School serves as a hub to connect PhD students with the wide range of opportunities provided by the UNIgreen Joint Research Centre (JRC).
Managed by the UNIgreen Research & Innovation Unit in close articulation with the UNIgreen Teaching & Learning Unit, it also identifies, implements, and manages additional opportunities for specialised knowledge and advanced training for PhD students and holders.
It plays a pivotal role in attracting PhD students globally, thereby strengthening the internationalisation of UNIgreen’s research by increasing the number of international publications by UNIgreen researchers and PhD candidates. In collaboration with the UNIgreen Mobility Unit, the school further facilitates mobility opportunities for PhD students across Alliance Members.
