The SGGW campus is one of the best planned and equipped education and research complex in the country. On 70 hectares of green land, there are more than 1,500 teaching rooms, 60 computer labs, 300 classrooms for lectures and practical classes, 24 lecture halls, a modern library, clinics, animal quarters, greenhouses, production halls, sports facilities, and dormitories with more than 4,000 places.

The whole campus is complemented by carefully laid out greenery – several thousand trees and shrubs perfectly combined with the modern architecture of the buildings of faculties and scientific institutes.

In the oldest part of the campus, there is the Ursynów palace complex listed in the register of monuments – the seat of the rectory authorities of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

Access to Campus

There are several ways to get to the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) campus:

Public transport (bus, metro):
SGGW is located in the Ursynów district, at 159 Nowoursynowska St. You can use the following public transport:

There are several ways to get to the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) campus:

  • Metro: The nearest metro stations are Ursynów or Służew (M1 line). From there you can take a bus or walk.
  • Bus: There are many buses stopping near the campus. Examples of lines that can take you around SGGW are
    o Lines 179, 191, 193, 504 – they have a stop near the campus, on Nowoursynowska Street.

Car:
If you are coming by car, head towards Nowoursynowska 166. Opposite the main entrance to the Old Campus is the entrance to the public underground car park (New Campus area). A little further on, on the other side of Nowoursynowska Street, there is a public car park (free of charge).
SGGW students also have access to additional parking spaces:

  • Parking by the sports facilities (entrance from Ciszewskiego Street)
  • Car park next to each dormitory (entrance from Nowoursynowska Street)
  • Parking near the entrance to the Faculty of Production Engineering (entrance from Nowoursynowska Street)

Bicyles:
There is a well-developed network of cycle paths in Warsaw and bicycle parking is available on the SGGW campus.

UNIgreen Offices

The UNIgreen office is located in the SGGW Main Library building, entrance from Nowoursynowska Street, ground floor, room 59.

Accommodation Service

The Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) has 3750 places in seven halls of residence, five of which are located in Ursynów (3460 places), one in Mokotów (150 places) and one on the premises of the Forest Experimental Station in Rogów (150 places). SGGW offers students very good accommodation conditions. All dormitories have been extensively renovated. Each dormitory has been equipped with new, functional furniture, designed for each building. All residences in Ursynów Campus and DS Oaza are equipped with a computer network with free Internet access and a communal antenna for receiving digital terrestrial television programmes. A wireless network (wifi) is available in the Krokus residence.


The residences have single, double and triple rooms. The rooms are grouped in 2, 3 or 4-bed sections, each with a spacious bathroom with toilet and shower (in DS Limba, Oaza and Krokus there is also a kitchenette). In the residences where there are no kitchenettes, there is a large communal kitchen on each floor.


Each student room is equipped with a fridge and a kitchenette with a worktop for preparing meals. In DS Limba there are only single and double rooms, each with a bathroom, separate toilet and kitchenette.


Each residence has laundry facilities with industrial washing machines using professional detergents and dryers available to students for a small fee.
