The Polytechnic University of Coimbra hosted the face-to-face meeting of the Board of Directors of Unigreen.
After the works in the seminar room, the participants took a tour on the Coimbra Agricultural School (ESAC), where they were able to visit the laboratories, the activities carried out with the horses in the arena and the stables, as well as the Agricultural School shop, where they had the opportunity to learn about the products they produce and sell.
Maria João Cardoso, pro-president and member of the Board of Directors, evaluated the meeting as a “very positive and fruitful days of work “, explaining that the annual plans for all UNIgreen units were approved and projects were launched which “will contribute to strengthening this European University”.
UNIgreen constitutes a wide network of opportunities for teaching staff, particularly in terms of research and participation in interdisciplinary and international projects, as well as mobility for teaching and training, which will also include non-teaching staff. Students, in turn, have the opportunity to attend courses developed jointly by the educational institutions involved through a future virtual campus that will allow virtual or blended learning and will benefit from specific conditions to study abroad, enrich their language skills and increase their employability rate at the end of the course.
