The University of Almería hosts the U-GREEN Final Conference on 24 and 25 April 2024.
Coordinated by UAL, U-GREEN is a “spin-off” project that brings together all UNIgreen Alliance Members and is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme within the scope of KA2 – Cooperation Partnerships.
The two main objectives of U-GREEN are:
- To address the ecological transition and to turn Universities into catalysts to promote behavioural change;
- To foster green skills in a new generation of committed European citizens.
The Final Conference agenda includes different U-GREEN working sessions and a conference on 25 April, which can be followed online, with the intervention of guest expert Prof Diego Vazquez-Brust, Professor of “Global Business Sustainability and Strategy” at the University of Portsmouth (UK), who will deliver a lecture on Green Growth Transitions.
U-GREEN Consortium members will subsequently present the main project results: U-GREEN Guidelines for Education & Training Institutions, the U-GREEN Label, an online Training Programme for U-GREEN Experts, and the U-GREEN Virtual Knowledge Hub.
