The Penedo da Saudade Cultural Centre of the Polytechnic University of Coimbra (PUC) now has a vertical garden installation with the aim of contributing to a more sustainable city and raising environmental awareness.
Called Carruagem 64, the project was designed by the artist António Azenha and is inspired by the public installation/sculpture Cadillac Ranch, created in 1974 in Amarillo, Texas (USA). The green sculpture is a vertical garden open to collaboration with the community, which can join the cause and decorate this artistic project.
